Japan Trip February 2019
It has been a superb week in Niigata with many high quality koi purchased , for the past ten years a very high percentage of my Koi are bought from Nogami , Dainichi , Isa and Marudo Koi Farms , every visit I am very fortunate to be offered some exceptionally high quality Koi from these breeders. Othere Koi arriving are from Marusei , Omosako , Oya and Izumiya Koi Farms.
All the koi have been individually selected for their quality and the potential to grow and develop into beautiful large Koi. Below are a few of the many High quality Tosai i have sold over the past few years showing just what these Koi can achieve given the right conditions.

The filter room for my 8500 gallon pond , the HighFil 50 shown in this picture is the same HighFil that was running my Shops main pond . It has now been running for over 5 years without any issues just like all the other HighFil's successfully installed over the past 5 years. The pre-chamber before the HighFil has many uses , easier bottom drain purges , housing for automatic top-up and fully submersible UV this chamber is heavily oxygenated with over 100 litres of air before entering the Bio Chamber. The pump used is the HighFil HFP-75 variable flow , you can also see a KWC Protein Shower for organic and DOC removal. The HighFil 50 Filter operates below water level which makes access and installation easier in some cases making this the most advanced filter available today.

Having observed these koi for the past eight months I can highly recommended them , the sumi on the Sanke and Showa is now starting to develop more , the bodies on all the Koi are straight with great potential to grow big. The beni quality is very high with excellent sashi and kiwa. If these koi are not sold i will be growing them all winter so you will see many of them on the For Sales Pages next year but not at this current price as i expect further development and growth.
