Day 2 Marudo and Maruhide

First farm was Marudo this farm is now on my list every visit to Japan and Hisashi Hirasawa is giving me the opportunity to buy high level go-sanke every visit , many of you may have seen the unsexed tosai i bought in February , these are now on the website and are selling fast. This trip was for Female Jumbo Tosai and he did not disappooint ....

This is just a selection of koi purchased all from 32 to 35cm Female Jumbo Tosai.

 

 

 

 

After Marudo a visit to Maruhide who is producing some very high quality Doitsu Go-sanke. These koi have great skin and patterns, also superb value. 40 Koi were purchased and below are some of the koi you can see later in May.

These Doitsu Gosanke are priced at £99.00 each.

 

After an excellent first day the it was rounded off with an superb meal at my favourite Suchi resaurant in Ojiya,
